Lifeboat City

Lifeboat City is a casual and role-playing server meant to provide a fun environment to chat with friends, and to make new ones. There are a few options on what to do while hanging out.

Professions

There are currently four ways to make money in game, mining, forestry, delivering letters, and simply playing.

Login

There are two types of login rewards available, you get a wheel spin for every day you join the server, and you build up a login streak for every consecutive day you join.

Mining

To start mining you will need to talk to Daniel near the water fountian, after buying a pickaxe from him you simply request a job, then teleport to profession area.

Once in the mine you need to find and collect the blocks you were assigned, and turn them in to Daniel once complete. You may speak to him again to teleport back to the city.

If you get lost in the mine try to find the minecart tracks and follow them back to Daniel

Payment

Daniel only needs help with one order per day, but he pays well at 1000 Boat Bucks

Forestry

To start forestry you will need to talk to Peter near the water fountian, after buying an axe from him you simply request a job, then teleport to profession area.

Once in the forest you simply collet wood as instructed, then place saplings to replace the trees. Talk to Peter to turn in the job and again to teleport back to the city.

Payment

Peter only needs help with one order per day, but he pays well at 1000 Boat Bucks.
If you've already completed each profession once for the day forestry is your best resource for income. At level 25 you can make about 9,000 Boat Bucks per hour.

Postal Carrier

To become a postal carrier find your way to John in the post office. It's located behind the main building or you can use the navigator. Simply talk to the postmaster to recieve your letters then bring them to their rightful owners. Selecting or using the letter tells you who it is addressed to. Customers are located througout the city.

Unlike the other professions this job can be repeated many times a day. Rewards scale down the more times you complete this task, starting at 450 and scaling down by 0.9 each time.

Pets

To get started simply follow the new player tutorial, it will walk you through the basics.

Caring for pets

Your pet needs food, water, cleaning, and sleep to live a happy life with you. Everything you need to take care of your pet can be obtained from Ethan and Jake in the pet food store near spawn. There are also beds in the pet shelter if you don't yet have one set up at home, and a more premium pet groomer if you don't want to get your hands dirty.

Pet Collections

There are 6 tiers of pets available in game, starter, common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. All pets except legendary are hatched from eggs of the correct rarity, eggs can be purchased from the pet seller in the shelter. Legendary pets are purchased with minecoins in the legendary pet store, near the shelter.

Houses

Housing plots are provided free of charge to Lifeboat City residents, though you will be in charge of supplying your own building materials. Blocks can be purchased at Blake's Blocks, and plants are available in the plant store to the right of the shelter. A premium plot upgrade is available it you'd like your home to be front and center near the town square for all to see, just interact with the for sale sign on the plots in game.
